Hand in Hand Support is a non-profit organization reaching the marginalized population in the Windsor/Essex community, offering transitional housing for homelessness, pre and post-recovery programs and a platform for a helping hand up from substance abuse and mental health issues.

We are dedicated to bridging the gap and stigma behind Substance Abuse Disorders from a perspective of compassion and understanding from where we used to be to where we are now giving hope and help to the marginalized that it is possible to live a healthy, productive life with purpose in the community.

Vision Statement

 

Hope: We believe that providing a safe place engenders hope for those in recovery by utilizing person centered planning, each goal is individualized to further their reclamation of life.

 

Empower: Through healing, dedication to recovery and serving community, we will give them the strength to choose life by standing against the stigma, humiliation and shame that regrettably comes with dependence.

 

Relationship: Meeting a person where they are and building trust as we walk together in humility, grace, and compassion while creating a non-judgmental environment to thrive in and build individual and community connections.

 

Service: We believe in order to live a purposeful life is to selflessly serve others continuing to being a light house for the lost and broken brothers and sisters.
